Starting with a red, white & blue acrylic blank, I cut slices on an angle (not quite 45-deg).  I then roughed up both sides of each piece and CA glued them into a blank.  Once dry, I prepped the blank and turned it for this pen.  The pen hardware is a gold, bolt-action pen.  Upon request from a young man who recently earned his Eagle scout.

RZ-BP40#-PBT   Platinum+Black Titanium sierra pen.  Cast in epoxy.  Cast and turning done by me.
The blank is printed with a Flag of Puerto Rico and a Taino Sun cast in water clear epoxy.

I was lucky to run across a piece of Beli at my local turning store one day.  This cigar pen with Beli sits on the piece of wood from which it was made.  Turned, finished with CA and sanded to 12000 grit and finish with a high shine.

One thing to remember when turning lighter colored acrylic blanks, paint the tubes white before gluing them into the blanks.  The white will bring out more of the color of the pen.  This pen is called a Knight\'s Armor and turned with a \"Clouds\" acrylic blank.  The back end \"helmet\" twists to eject the pen tip.  A very stunning pen.
