It is a residentially felled holly tree in North Carolina, USA. We bought the blank and turned the letter opener with the grip at the end.
Work Description:
The Holly Letter opener is finished with many, many layers of spray lacquer to retain the white appearance of the holly. Holly serves as an excellent substitute for ivory.
